Officially days 2 and 3 without sugar. Hmmmm…headache, LOW energy, and fuzzy head.  I wasn’t really sure what to expect, except what I have read and so far it is right on.  It is hard to concentrate and although I don’t have the “flu-like symptoms” that some people report I just don’t feel like myself.

The good news is that it won’t last too much longer.  I am dealing with any sugar cravings that I am having by eating whole, pure foods…protein, greens, lots of water and big flavors (salsa, onion, garlic, pepper).  And when I want a snack I go for fruit or nuts; just not in large quantities.  I am trying to listen to my body and not push too hard during my morning workouts as my energy isn’t really there.  I am looking forward to the next few days.
