So I won’t bore you with details of how I feel elimating sugar from my diet on a daily basis…Day 21 is just 11 more days away! But let’s just say I made it through Easter :o) And there are handy apps out there if you are a techy person who has your phone in your hand quite often (who, me?) with a countdown on them to make things more interesting when you have a deadline lol

I read a great article over the weekend on shedding the last few pounds of fat that I’d love to share. It is at…”8 Ways To Cut Your Last Few Pounds of Fat” by Pauline Nordin

1.Fiber up your diet
2. The suckier the workout the better for burning fat (in other words, mix it up and do what your body isn’t used to)
3. More protein, fewer carbs (keep carbs limited to workout times)
4. Change your weight training strategy (mix up heavy and light weight routines)
5. Add a fat burner (caffeine, green tea extract)
6. Lower your room temperature (increases your metabolism)
7. Look for foods high in volume but low in calories (veggies! or spaghetti squash instead of pasta…)
8. Include more hot spices to rev your metabolism (hot peppers have capsaicin which increases your metabolism, albeit temporarily)

I don’t know if you would need to incorporate each one of these but it is great to get some ideas on how to mix things up when you feel like you have tried everything. When you are “that close” to your goal it often takes a little more oomph to make it over the threshold.
